On November 1, 2005, the House of Commons Committee for Foreign Affairs and International Trade held a meeting in Toronto, Ontario (at the Marriott Eaton Centre) to seek community testimony for Canadian foreign policy.

The Formosan Association for Public Affairs Canada was asked to give a presentation to the committee, represented by FAPA Canada President Dr. Harry Chen and FAPA Canada founding president Prof. Albert Lin. The content of Dr. Chen's testimony is placed below.
